Plans, Usage & Storage
Understand the two limits on your plan: monthly usage and total storage
Two Separate Limits
Every Mail Sorter plan includes two independent limits. They measure different things, and either one can apply on its own:
Monthly Usage
How many PDFs you can process per calendar month
- Counts every PDF you upload and sort
- Resets on the 1st of each month
- Shown as the circle in your mailbox sidebar
Storage
The total size of files you keep in Mail Sorter
- Counts the files currently stored in your mailbox
- Never resets — it only goes down when you delete files
- Shown as the bar below your monthly usage
Your files are never auto-deleted. Everything you upload stays in your mailbox until you delete it yourself.
Limits by Plan
Current limits for each plan (always up to date):

What Happens at Each Limit
- Monthly limit reached — new uploads are blocked until your usage resets on the 1st, or you upgrade to a plan with a higher monthly limit.
- Storage limit reached — new uploads are blocked until you free up space by deleting files you no longer need, or upgrade to a plan with more storage. Deleting a file frees its space instantly.
Deleting a file only removes the PDF and its entry from your mailbox — your remaining mail is unaffected, and the freed space is available immediately.
